Another the feature of the game is the unique upgrading system. It utilizes elemental and strengthening refinement and armor piercing and socket placing. Before, it was hard to refine, but now it was made easier and better.
The catalyst for refinement, such as erons, has been removed and will be deemed useless at this point in the game. However, the developers are currently finding a way to re-utilize these. So, don?t throw them away! |

Game Review From One Player
Title: FlyFF Review
Author:Roope Granroth
Personal Introduction:My name?s Roope Granroth, and I live in Finland. I?m 13 (young, yes), and I?ve got quite nice experience from online games. My online nickname?s Salsa. For contacting me, this email adress: salsazzz@hotmail.com Game reviewing is a way to "rank" a game by opinion. For, I could give 10 points for a game, someone could give it 5 points. For MMOG?s I?ve played, many. For MMORPG?s, atleast: FlyFF, Rappelz, MapleStory, RuneScape, Knight online, Cabal, Conquer online and many more. I also like to play MMOFPS?es, such as: FEAR Combat, America?s Army, Wolfenstein: -Enemy Territory, Counter-Strike, WarRock. At the moment, I don?t play any MMORPG?s, but MMOFPS?es as WarRock, Wolfenstein: -Enemy Territory, FEAR: Combat and Americas Army. For favourite game, probably Americas Army, it?s a good TWL, team-based and fun.I?ll probably be able to review games for some years, perhaps 3 or over, I think.

Comparison: FlyFF is a large MMORPG, above the standard level of Online RPG?s. It has nice questsm good leveling system and fun gameplay.
First impression: "Ooh! Cute characters!" is what you think of FlyFF in the first place. It has quite nice graphics, referred below. You can run around the world and bash monsters freely, for FlyFF is very fun, especially in the beginning.
Graphics: 8.5 Quite nice graphics, good animation quality and textures. The characters look cute, and the world is nice. The flashy fights are something to every MMORPG to be jealous of.
Sound: 8 FlyFF has very nice sound, when reffered to music. It has no voice acting, but the music is very great, especially the fighting music.
Gameplay: 8.3 FlyFF has fluent gameplay, the controls are nice and easy to learn. This game is well designed, and the overall feel is nice. Especially the flying is fun to do!
Community: 9 FlyFF has nice community, with well-working chat system, guilds and forums. There is even marriages in it! (Woot!)
Value: 7.9 It depends all about the player, for how long he can play it. I played for couple of months, then got bored. But I?d say that this is long-aged and enjoyable game. Replaying can be fun, for doing different classes.
Unique features 10 Unique feature of FlyFF is, as noticed in the name, flying! You can fli with a broom, hoverboard or a hoverbike. There are flying monsters to kill when flying, or take a fun race with your friend! Full points for flying! Also, there?s the gPotato shop, ingame Real-Money shop, where you can buy special items. it has no problems, full points for it too!
Personal rating: 8.9 FlyFF is a nice MMORPG, which you can have some fun with. I enjoyed my FlyFF experience, and so should you! Overall rating: 8.6, a fun MMORPG.
Thank you =) |

Title: It is Fun to Fly.

Game Title:Fly for Fun Genre: MMORPG Status: Final Developer: 2006 Gala-Net Publisher: Aeonsoft, Inc.

System requirements CPU: PentiumIII 800MHZ RAM: 128MB Video card: Geforce 2mx 200 Hard disk space occupied: Unknown Speed: Unknown
Comparison: Flyff compared to most Free to play games, owns in many ways. Runescape, a highly well known free to play mmorpg has nothing on Flyff. Though they are in a way similar, Flyff rises to the top. Flyff?s graphics stomp?s Runescape in many ways. Also the fighting system maybe a bit similar, since you take turns hitting each other, except you can use skills at less of a cost on Flyff. The rune system on Runescape, is a bit of a hassle and the MP/FP system makes for a better and less annoying experience. The ability to party with other members is quite the joyfull experience. The chatting system is way more advanced as well. If Runescape just isn?t filling your need in mmorpg?ness then look no further because Flyff is just a bigger/better version of Runescape.
First impression: The game blew me away as soon as i started creating my character. Yes there are limited stuff for you to use to create your character at first, but its still enjoyable. When i killed my first beast i was hooked, and i wanted more and more. I just couldn?t wait to get my first job, because vagrant wasn?t quite doing it for me. There was much to discover in the game and only soo many hours i could play a day without other things disrupting my gameing time. I am very impressed with the Player shops and guild wars, and the good amount of jobs to be in the game, make everything just that much more sweet. If you love magic, become a mage, i know i did. If your a warrior, become a mercenary and destroy your oppents with your awesome flashy skills. And if you want something different, there are other jobs as well. And learning to fly is the best thing ever, and really convienent, because running everywhere in this big of a game, would get very annoying. I was hooked on this game for quite a long time, its definately worth giving a shot.
Graphics: The graphics were really good, for free to play mmorpg. Depending on how high of detail you put on the game, depends on how well you visually experience the game, and let me say I am very impressed. Very smooth running game, even when you hit a highly populated town, though the load times when walking into a town slow ya down for a second, its always worth the 2-3 second wait. The shadowing effects are my favorite part of how the game looks, and the texture of everything goes great and pretty lifelike. I give the graphics 9 points out of 10.
Sound: The sound is probably the worst feature in the game. Because alot of the sounds, well... sound the same. The music can get a little annoying after a while, but all you have to do is mute it. Its really cheery and all that, but it just doesn?t help give you the feel of whatever is going on. When fighting the music should be more dark and heavy or something not just a different cheery tone. Maybe its just me but i didn?t enjoy the sounds very much so i give it 4 points out of 10. Gameplay: The game doensn?t have alot of flaws in it, and is an all around great game. The amount of things you can do, can keep you hooked onto this game for months at a time. The game requires interaction with other people sometimes, but it was never in a bad way. It will satisfy your thrist for mmorpg games, with the ability to be many different things. Though sometimes it may not seem worth it, when all you can do at the moment is level up, and it can be repetitive, its something you have to expect from any mmorpg so get over it. If you have doubts, just give the game a try, its not a big download and its free to play, and i can almost gaurentee you?ll be hooked. I give the gameplay of this game 10 points out of 10. Community: Alot of the people in the game are pretty friendly, maybe a little too friendly because you will get random requests to join parties or join guilds but at least your never lonely. The player shops are Key to getting hard to find items, but its never cheap to get those, unless you find a person who is cheap like me on the game. Its very easy to make friends, and to get into parties and its alot of fun. Though its hard to level up with a 2 person party, you should always seek as many people as you can for a more effective strategy in leveling up. Though you don?t have to use anyone?s help in the game, thats something you don?t want to miss out on. I give the community 8 points out of 10. Value: I gaurentee that you will stay hooked to the game for more than a month, and if your serious about it, i?ll give you 4 months till you reach a lvl high enough that you want to start over and play a different job. Because depending on who you become in the game, depends on the things you experience. So replay value is pretty high, as long as you know what you want. The variety of things to do in this game, can sometimes feel endless so this is definately a game you may play over and over. i give the value of this game 8 points out of 10.
Unique features: Quests are alot of fun, and you are always well rewarded when doing them, if your the right level. Flying around is soo much better than running, and it will make you a happier person. Tons of different skills/magic to learn that make this game a experience to remember. If you want to sell alot of things and don?t have alot of time, just put up your player shop right before you go to bed, and when you wake up you should have at least 1 sale, because there is bound to be someone that will want something from you. Since there are alot of additional features in this game, rather than the basic mmorpg stuff like fighting and leveling up, i give this game 10 points out of 10 on addition features.
Screenshots: If this was a review on the site i would post screen shots here.
Personal rating: My personal rateing for the game is a 10 out of 10 because it hooked me at the beggining, and kept rehooking me later on. When i became the mage and started using elements to gain the advantage, i was thrilled. Nothing like takeing down a monster with magic before they can reach you eh? Flying was a new experience, that i had never expericed in any other mmorpg before, and the abilitry to fight in mid air made me happier as well. This is definately one of my favorite games of all time and will probably stay up there for some time.
If i am able to do reviews for you, i could do them for at least a year and quite possibly more than that. I hope this email was helpfull in showing my abilities, and i would love it if you responded to it. Thanks for reading it.
